Samiam is my favorite out of the second-wave emo period as I stated on my previous page, but it seems like nobody is really into them as much as me, so I'll talk about them.
Their music, obviously. Listen to Capsized or Stepson off of their major-label debut! I will never get bored of these songs. They remind me of Sugar, Foo Fighters when it was just Dave Grohl's side project and Hüsker Dü even. I guess if you like Sunny Day Real Estate, you will definitely love these guys.
